Breedbandtoegangsnetwerk voor treinen door middel van Radio-over-Fiber

In dit werk proberen we de traditionele trade-off van bandbreedte en bewegingssnelheid te doorbreken. Een grote bandbreedte moet ook mogelijk zijn aan een hoge bewegingssnelheid, meer bepaald in (hogesnelheids)treinen. Door de introductie van een model op basis van Radio-over-Fiber en het moving cell concept, proberen we dit doel te bereiken.  Dit model wordt gemapped op een simulatiemodel op basis van ethernet en standaard IEEE 802.11, dat uitvoerig getest wordt met behulp van simulaties in ns-click.
